NEWS Tri-Nation Tournament in Sri Lanka>Lack of fifth bowler still a worry: Dravid 01st Aug 2005 15.24 IST By Agencies Captain Rahul Dravid , in the moment of an emphatic win over the West Indies on Sunday, confessed the absence of a fifth regular bowler hurt his team as the opposition dug themselves out of a hole and posted a competitive total. "It is a worry to us. Unfortunately we are not blessed with all-rounders. It is a tough decision to play with four bowlers," Dravid said after India won by six wickets in the second match Tri-series in Dambulla. "Frankly it has helped me in my role as a captain. The way our fast bowlers have bowled in these two games, if they bowl well in the right areas, it is easy to set field. "If they continue to do so, we would win a few games." The elegant batsman was at pains to emphasis the absence of Anil Kumble from the team. "It is not easy for us and it's not easy for him. I don't know any other way of putting it. But we do what we can on a given day about the team," said Dravid after Kumble sat out his second successive match of the tournament. Dravid added that India would continue to experiment with the batting order till they find an ideal combination in the shorter version of the game. Dravid said it was important to be a little flexible in the batting order though the injury to some of the seniors had forced him to try out different batting combinations. "We have already spoken about the need to be flexible. The injury to (V V S) Laxman forced us to try out a different batting order." The stylish Karnataka batsman said he was impressed by the way the youngsters in the team were shaping up. "Some of the injuries and absence of some senior players gave chance to the youngsters. (Suresh) Raina came through well today after (Venugopal) Rao had put up a good show in the first match yesterday," he said. Dravid, who was adjudged the man-of-the-match, singled out his pace bowlers for special praise, saying they really set up the game for the team. "They really bowled very well, and used conditions brilliantly," he said. The Indian captain, who cracked his second successive half-century, said the two paced nature of the track made it hard for the batsmen to score runs. "It was two paced wicket, not the one to play shots on. Fortunately it was not a huge score so we had enough time to reach the target. It was just a matter of keeping it simple and take one ball at a time."
