NEWS Tri-Nation Tournament in Sri Lanka>Animated celebration to vent out frustration: Yuvraj 08th Aug 2005 22.35 IST By Agencies On reaching his century, Yuvraj Singh , ever the showman, screamed in joy and showed his bat to the dressing room and his animated celebration was indication enough of hitting back at the critics. When asked about this, the left-hander said, ''It was just my way of letting out frustration for all the 30s and 40s I have been getting and not being able to convert them into a big score, which I managed to do at last. The Punjab lad however did not want to compare this knock to the one he played in the NatWest series final at Lord's in 2002, saying both these knocks came under different circumstances, therefore comparing them is not right. Talking about his innings, Yuvraj said that the main obstacle during batting was the slowness of the track and the heat and humidity. He also said that he developed cramps due to the heat and humidity and added, ''I am surprised how Kaif did not suffer the same fate.'' Yuvraj paid Kaif the ultimate compliment, saying that he ran a lot to keep the scoreboard ticking and held fort superbly. In fact, it was Kaif who built the platform, Yuvraj added.
