Dismissing the rumours of 'ego problem' between him and Rahul Dravid , recalled Indian captain Sourav Ganguly , said he was looking forward to cooperation from his long-standing deputy as well as coach Greg Chappell.

''I look forward to get the support and help of Rahul (Dravid) and Greg (Chappell) in selecting the side. We will put our heads together to complete the selection procedure,'' he said in Kolkata.

Sourav said he was eagerly awaiting the chance to work with the new coach and take the team to another level.

''I am eagerly awaiting the chance to work closely with Greg. It will be nice working together,'' he said.

Talking about his priorities as skipper for the upcoming Zimbabwe tour, Sourav said: ''Much more important than being the captain is to see the side perform well. The level of performance has to go up.''

Calling the Sri Lanka series debacle, a closed chapter, he said it was time to move on.
