NEWS India-Australia-West Indies Tri-Series> I should be more verbal behind the stumps: Dhoni 17th Sept 2006  21.00 IST By Agencies   Mahendra Dhoni believes being "verbal" is one area of his wicketkeeping that he could improve upon. "I'm not verbal when behind the stumps. My team-mates tell me that I should be a bit more verbal," Dhoni said during one of the rain interruptions in the India-Australia match of the DLF Cup tri-series which was later abandoned here yesterday. "I do talk but generally, I focus on doing my job," the 25-year-old player from Jharkhand said. Reflecting on India's performance in this off-shore outing so far, Dhoni felt his team was robbed off a victory in the West Indies in their opener on Thursday. "If it had been a 50-over match, the result would have been different. The ball was keeping low, it would have been difficult to score the runs," he said. "It was a dicey pitch. If Virender Shewag and me had been there, we could have put even more runs on the board and put further pressure on West Indies," he added. A "ridge" in the pitch at the Kinrara Oval ground had accounted for three of India's dismissals, including that of Dhoni and Sehwag. Dhoni said it was not an ideal wicket to play on at the start of the season. "It is not turning much but has a lot of bounce. For someone like Harbhajan (Singh), it could be helpful. It is a difficult wicket for a day-night match and particularly at the start of the season," the dashing wicketkeeper-batsman said.
