Mohammad Yousuf has been served a notice by the Indian Cricket League organisers to attend an arbitration hearing on November 21st in Delhi for breach of contract after initially signing up with them.

PCB has asked Yousuf to focus on his cricket in the Test series against India and not worry about the hearing, which is just a day before the start of the first match in Delhi.

Yousuf has got the notice after he initially signed up to play for the rebel ICL after being dropped from the Twenty20 World Cup squad in August.

But when South Africa toured Pakistan he relented and signed a central contract with the national board and played against the touring side.

"Yousuf is one of our main players and we have told him to concentrate on his batting and the tests. The Pakistan cricket Board is taking care of his case," manager, Talat Ali said.

He said the team management and board officials had spoken to Yousuf and assured him of their full support if the ICL pushed the case against him.

The ICL claims it paid Yousuf 25 percent of the contractual fees in advance. The minimum contractual amount being paid by ICL is said to be around USD 190,000.

Ehsan Malik, the PCB's director communications and the media manager of the team in India said no one could stop Yousuf from playing for Pakistan.
