 Kumble, Ponting, Smith to be honoured by ICC

Indian Test captain Anil Kumble and the skippers of Australia and South Africa, Ricky Ponting and Graeme Smith, will be felicitated next week by International Cricket Council (ICC) for their standing in the official cricket rankings table.
The trio of cricket stalwarts will be honoured at a function in Mumbai on April 16 by the ICC whose outgoing CEO Malcolm Speed is later scheduled to update the media on key commercial developments.
Kumble and Smith are at present in Kanpur for the third and final Test of the three-match series between India and South Africa. |
