Panesar can be dangerous: Vaughan

Fresh from a series victory against the West Indies, England captain Michael Vaughan reckons that his spin trump card Monty Panesar can be a "very dangerous" bowler in the series against India.
"This series will be a big test for Monty because of the batsmen he will be up against. He is a good Test match bowler and he learns very fast," said Vaughan ahead of the first Test at Lord's.
"If he gets conditions that suit him, he can be very dangerous," Vaughan said.
The left-arm spinner, who has been making waves in recent times, took 23 wickets at an average of 18.69 in the recently concluded series against the West Indies and is ranked sixth on the ICC rankings for Test bowlers.
"There will be times in the series when Monty's got to hold himself, may have to change his pace a little bit, come over the wicket and do some other things against good batsmen. That's what he needs to do. He will be tested. If he gets it right, he will put all Indian batsmen under pressure," Vaughan added.
Despite thrashing the West Indies 3-0, the England captain knows that his team will be playing a better opposition against the Indians.
"We know this is a bigger series. We know when we play India there will be a huge amount of media and also lot of support for them. You are made to feel this is a bigger series. The atmosphere is great when India is playing.
"Playing the Indians is a bigger challenge, they are more experienced in the batting. It's an exciting challenge and the whole team is eager to do well. They need to maintain the standard they've achieved in the last series and try and raise their game than what they did against the West Indies," Vaughan said.
