Man of the match Gautam Gambhir said that it was a satisfying performance considering the cold conditions.

"It is pretty chilly here. We are not used to these conditions. England had a good weather. So it was important to get used to in the middle. They bowled well in good areas," he said.

"It is important that whenever you get an opportunity, you give your best," he said.

Losing skipper Ryan Watson said that he was happy with the performance of the team but there were lessons to be learnt from top side like India.

"It was a decent total. We fought hard. We bowled well but their top order acquired singles and we can learn from these things," he said.
