Match evenly poised: Butt

Pakistan opener Salman Butt feels the first Test between India and Pakistan is "evenly poised" with day four being crucial for both teams' chances.

"I don't think the match has turned in India's favour. It is a game of partnerships and played in sessions. So we are still in the game," he said after the third day's play at the Ferozeshah Kotla in New Delhi.

"The match is evenly poised and whichever team plays well tomorrow will win the match," he said with Pakistan leading by 167 runs with five wickets intact in their second innings.

Butt said if there is fog tomorrow morning it would help the batsmen, as there will be moisture in the pitch.

"Today there was less fog and more sunlight. But tomorrow if there will be fog there will be juice in the pitch and it will assist the batsmen. Otherwise, the wicket will be slow and low." continued..
