The absence of Matthew Hayden and Michael Hussey from the Chennai Super Kings batting line up would give his side Deccan Chargers the advantage when the two teams meet each other on Tuesday, said wicketkeeper batsman Adam Gilchrist.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai today, Gilchrist said he was confident his team would repeat the success it had against Mumbai Indians on April 27.

Asked whether VVS Laxman would be shuffled in the top order, he said he was not sure whether the team would go for a change in the batting line-up.

On a strategy to contain hard-hitting Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, he said the Deccan Chargers were very much aware how dangerous Dhoni could be and would evolve a suitable strategy to tackle him.

"Hopefully, we will be able to put the ball on the right spot to get his wicket," Gilchrist, whose blazing 42-ball century scripted a 10 wicket win against Mumbai Indians, said.

He said the grounds in India were smaller compared to Australia and a mis-hit could even go for a six.

Gilchrist said he was not in race for the "Orange Cap" and that talks were on with the Deccan Chargers team management to assume the role of a coach at their proposed cricket academy.
