Delhi Daredevils skipper Virender Sehwag said Monday's 5-wicket victory over Bangalore Royal Challengers will give his side the confidence to win both their remaining two matches to give them a chance for a semifinal berth in the Indian Premier League.

"I'm very happy," said Sehwag. "We batted well. The wicket was flat and it was good to bat on such a wicket. I and Gautam played well which turned the match in our favour," added.

"We need to play really well. Performance is the key for our semifinal hopes and we need to win the remaining two matches," he said at the post-match press conference in Bangalore.

Royal Challengers skipper Rahul Dravid maintained what he had said before the match -- of upsetting someone's party -- with his side already out of contention after nine defeats from 11 matches.

"Some teams need crucial points (at this stage of the tournament) and we will try and upset a few teams. We did not click as a team in the tournament and fell short by 10-15 per cent in all the departments of the game. 10-15 percent makes a lot of difference in Twenty20 cricket," said Dravid.

"We could have bowled little better upfront today. Maybe if we do well in our last matches that will keep us in good stead in the next season," he added.

Dravid praised India Under-19 wicketkeeper Sreevats Goswami, who was named Man of the Match, saying, "The youngster did well both in front as well as behind the wicket. He grabbed the opportunity that was given to him with both hands."
