Bangalore Royal Challengers captain Rahul Dravid gave full credit to his bowlers, particularly Anil Kumble who was adjudged the man of the match for taking three crucial wickets that led to his side beating the Chennai Super Kings in Chennai Wednesday night.
"We played our first match against Chennai in Bangalore well but could not finish and the same thing happened to the Chennai team today. Anil (Kumble) was brilliant and turned the tide in our favour.
"Even in the last two overs, one could not say as to who would win. When we got Fleming, we had a chance but Suresh Raina is known for hitting the ball clean. It is good to have won a match after five straight losses," he said as the Bangalore side garnered six points from 12 matches.
"A win like this is good for the dressing room people to feel happy," Dravid said, adding, "it is not a good season but we have to show some responsibility. Hopefully, the same team will do well in the next season."
