Pakistan's young pacer Sohail Tanvir, who won the best bowler award in the Indian Premier League, missed his flight today to Karachi from Delhi and will now join the training camp for the triangular one-day series in Bangladesh late.

Tanvir and teammate wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal had to catch a flight from Mumbai to Delhi to return home but missed the flight.

The flights to Pakistan are booked for the next two days but we are trying to find seats out of here as soon as possible, Tanvir told a television channel from India.

Tanvir, who finished with 22 wickets in 10 matches in the IPL, said he had thoroughly enjoyed his time in the league playing for champions Rajasthan Royals and learnt a lot.

Tanvir hit the winning run off the final ball to seal the win for the Royals over Chennai Super Kings.

"I enjoyed every match of the tournament and before the league I had set a target of taking most wickets in the league for myself. I am happy I achieved it", he said.

"It is a great feeling to be the leading wicket taker in the IPL where the best players and bowlers featured", he said.

“I believe in setting myself personal targets before every series or tournament. I went into each match of the IPL with the idea of taking wickets because this event has shown that even in Twenty20 cricket wickets are the best method of keeping the opposition under pressure, containment comes later.” continued..
