Seeking to play mindgames ahead of the first Test starting in Bangalore on Wednesday, Australian vice-captain Darren Lehmann on Monday hinted that his team would target each Indian batsman differently.

"Wait and see. We don't want to give too much away. We may have plans for different batsmen," Lehmann told reporters in Bangalore when asked about the bowling strategy that the visiting team would adopt.

"Last time, we won the match. We are looking for the same result," he said referring to Australia's Test victory at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in 1998.

Lehmann expected the pitch at the Chinnaswamy stadium to be a "slow, low and turning" one.

"Indian wickets are normally turning. It's a question of adopting to conditions."

Stand-in captain Adam Gilchrist said: "I am yet to see the pitch. However, we may change our strategy after two days of play, depending upon circumstances. The team is well-prepared."

Gilchrist, leading the side in the absence of an injured Ricky Ponting, also said it would be great if Sachin Tendulkar played in the opener.

"We have plans to meet the challenge. It will be great cricket with Sachin around," he said.
