NEWS Ashes stamps commemorate series win by Australia16th Jan 2007 18.28 IST By Agencies Australian fans who mail letters to England will be salivating at the prospect: special-issue Ashes stamps commemorating Australia's 5-0 series sweep over the Old Enemy. The two stamps - a 50-cent domestic stamp and a $1.85 international stamp - portray the Australian team's series win over England in Perth. Australia clinched the Ashes with its third straight win at the WACA Ground, then won the last two tests in Melbourne and Sydney. The international stamp shows a close-up image of several Australian team members, including captain Ricky Thomas Ponting , Adam Gilchrist , Lee, Matthew Lawrence Hayden and Warne celebrating with the replica Ashes urn.
