Profile
This tall, thin and lanky bowler is one of the most accurate bowlers in the world cricket today. His fiercely competitive nature has found him on the wrong side of match referees on more than one occasion. His career highlights include an extraordinary 8/38 against England at Lord's in 1997, while followers of the 1999 World Cup will remember his demolition of the Indian top order during Australia's march to tournament victory. In the recent test series against the West Indies, he took his 300th wicket dismissing his favourite opponent Brian Lara on a first ball-duck. He also registered his first test hat-trick in the process.
