Mahela Jayawardene is one of the most talented Sri Lankan cricketers. On his Test debut against India in 1997, Jayawardene smashed 66 in Colombo. Mahela was placed seventh in the top ten fastest scorers of the 1999 World Cup with 102 runs and a strike rate of 96.23.
